This is a scene that I caught while visiting our house near Orgiva in Southern Spain. On a sunny day in May 2010 we were exploring the local area and I saw this olive grove swamped with poppies and other wild flowers. I grabbed my camera and took a series of shots, one of which provided the basis for this painting. If you look carefully, you can see my favourite dog, Oscar, going for an afternoon stroll.
