About this Painting
A few years ago I took my wife to Naples for her birthday and whilst there, we toured all the local sights, including the Amalfi coast.
As is often the case, the light was wonderful and I took numerous photographs, stopping whenever possible on the treacherous coast road or taking side streets to obtain better views. This view is a composite from a number of photographs, using a general view which I have then framed in a typical Italian archway and lined with bougainvilleas.
This painting was featured in a 10-page article in the June 2010 issue of International Artist Magazine.
