Thousands of cards were sold and the proceeds donated to charity.    25 October 2013 Tower Bridge Painting Selected by Wentworth Jigsaws Another of Richard's paintings, Tower Bridge after the Snow, has been chosen by Wentworth Puzzles for inclusion in their winter collection of exclusive wooden jigsaws.   20 October 2013 Artists & Illustrators Magazine Artist of the Year Competition 2013 Richard painting of the Great Wall of China was shortlisted in Artists & Illustrators Magazine's Artist of the Year competition 2013. The competition received thousands of entries and Richard's work was in the final shortlist of 50 paintings selected as finalists. The painting will be on display at Mall Galleries, London in January 2014.   7 June 2013 3 Paintings Win Awards in The Patchings Art Competition and Exhibition Three of Richard's paintings won awards in The Artist & Leisure Painters' Patchings Art Competition and Exhibition. Meeting Street Inn, Charleston was awarded the Atelier Interactive Award and was included in the Exhibition, Shem Creek Shrimpers, Charleston was included in the Exhibition and Mont Saint-Michel Soir was Highly Commended. The exhibition runs until 21 July 2013 at the Patchings Art Centre, near Nottingham, England.   28 March 2013 Richard Chosen as Featured Artist by Artists & Illustrators Magazine Richard was the Featured Artist on Artists & Illustrators Magazine's website and one of his paintings, Mont Saint-Michel Soir was also featured in the print edition.   5 March 2013 Two more Paintings Selected by Wentworth Jigsaws Two more of Richard's paintings, Mont Saint-Michel Soir and Monet's Garden, Giverny, have been chosen by Wentworth Puzzles for inclusion in their winter range of exclusive wooden jigsaws. This brings the total to 6 using Richard's images. Wentworth offer exquisite high quality puzzles ranging from 100 to 1,500 pieces using one of their many stock images. Their classic ‘Whimsy’ laser-cut wooden puzzles feature their unique “whimsical” shapes that often reflect the theme of the image. All their puzzles are cut from 3mm thick wooden boards to ensure they last a lifetime.   29 January 2013 Richard Now Being Exhibited in Ventures in Art Internet Gallery Richard's work is now shown in Ventures in Art, an internet-based art gallery that specialises in selling affordable original artwork.   November 2012 Another Painting Selected by Wentworth Jigsaws Another of Richard's paintings, Winter Sun, Houses of Parliament, London, has been chosen by Wentworth Puzzles for inclusion in their winter range of exclusive wooden jigsaws.    1 September 2012 "Sandcastles" Featured in Artists & Illustrators Magazine Richard's painting Sandcastles was selected as Picture of the Month in the September 2012 issue of Artist & Illustrators Magazine.    23 April 2012 Professional Artist of the Year 2012 Richard has been awarded "Professional Artist of the Year" by the (British) Society for All Artists for his painting Hera II, Valletta, Malta. The SAA is a leading UK art society that also publishes "Paint" magazine.   21 March 2012 Major installation in Brea, California Prints of several of Richard's paintings have recently been sold as part of an OCDesignersource installation at Brea Business Park in California. The installation consisted of a large number of paintings and photographs in two office buildings in Brea, Orange County. OCDesignersource have done an excellent job of promoting Richard's work in California in a variety of different business lines.   28 February 2012 Prague painting featured by ArtClutch.com Richard's painting Misty Dawn, Charles Bridge, Prague was the Daily Top Winner at Artclutch.com and featured on their Facebook page.  ArtClutch.com is a well-known on-line gallery that sells artwork from leading artists around the world.   16 January 2012 Another Painting Selected by Wentworth Jigsaws Another of Richard's paintings, Kathleen May, has been chosen by Wentworth Puzzles for inclusion in their range of exclusive wooden jigsaws.      News Archive: Click here >>> APPEARANCE OF PRINTS &
